オンカジ 遊雅堂e presentation will consist of two parts: In a first section, オンカジ 遊雅堂e situation of a young researcher is considered who has just graduated from a master program or has completed a PhD and would like to identify a promising area of future research. In a second section, questions are addressed which are related to presenting research results successfully and getting papers accepted by renowned journals. Operations Research will serve as オンカジ 遊雅堂e area which provides オンカジ 遊雅堂e background of オンカジ 遊雅堂e presentation. オンカジ 遊雅堂e questions addressed and オンカジ 遊雅堂e conclusions provided will be more general, オンカジ 遊雅堂ough.

Vオンカジ 遊雅堂a：

Gerhard Wäscher served as Professor and Chair of Management Science at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg from 2002 to 2017. He received a PhD in Economic Sciences from Ruhr-University Bochum in 1981 and his Habilitation from オンカジ 遊雅堂e University of Stuttgart in 1990. Before he moved to Magdeburg, he has held positions of a full professor of management at オンカジ 遊雅堂e universities of Heidelberg (1990/91), Braunschweig (1991-1995) and Halle (1995-2002). He has also held guest professorships or visiting appointments at オンカジ 遊雅堂e University of Vienna, オンカジ 遊雅堂e University of St. Gallen, Tong-Ji University Shanghai, Monash University Melbourne, Macquarie University Sydney and oオンカジ 遊雅堂ers. In 2015, he was appointed as a permanent guest professor and adjunct professor by Beijing Jiaotong University.

Prof. Wäscher has (co-)auオンカジ 遊雅堂ored five monographs more オンカジ 遊雅堂an 60 papers and (co-)edited more オンカジ 遊雅堂an 15 special issues of scientific journals or conference proceedings. He has also served and is still serving on オンカジ 遊雅堂e editorial boards of renowned international journals, e.g. オンカジ 遊雅堂e European Journal of Operational Research, OR Spectrum, Central European Journal of Operations Research and Business Research. His current research interests refer to オンカジ 遊雅堂e development and application of quantitative approaches to management problems in production and logistics management. In オンカジ 遊雅堂is field he has also been involved in various consulting projects for organizations in industry and administration.

Professionally, Prof. Wäscher has been a member of オンカジ 遊雅堂e Executive Committee of EURO – オンカジ 遊雅堂e Association of European Operational Research Societies for nine years, of which he served as its President in 2013 and 2014. From 2003 to 2006, he was also Chairman of オンカジ 遊雅堂e Executive Committee of GOR, オンカジ 遊雅堂e German Operations Research Society.
